The Greek National Health Service Organization is a Legal Entity of Public Law which is a buyer of Health services in Greece. The organization initiated its operation on 1st of January 2012, initially under the supervision of the Ministries of Labor & Social Insurance and Health & Social Solidarity, aiming to provide health services through a single national organization. Later on, it was set exclusively under the supervision of the Ministry of Health.
